There is a plus sign at the top left that you can use to create new tabs. On the left side you will find a burger menu at the bottom, behind which, among other things, the settings are hidden. If you want to add a new website to the favorites, this is done via drag and drop: you simply drag the tab bubble with the open website into the favorites area. Some browser universal keyboard shortcuts also work. Each bubble has a small “x” when you hover over it, which you can use to delete a favorite or close a tab. The Opera Neon arranges the tabs on the right – also in round bubbles. In addition, the search bar automatically suggests nearby websites. The search engine can be changed in the settings. If the browser does not recognize a searched term as a web address, it automatically uses Google. There is no real URL bar, but URLs can still be typed in there. Above these favorites there is a simple line that you can use to call up websites. Favorites are displayed more or less randomly in the main window as spherical bubbles. The browser is almost completely transparent and uses the desktop wallpaper as window filler. The user interface of the new Opera browser is as simple as it is chic. At least for simple web surfing, the Neon is definitely suitable.
